On 8th December, 2017 Charge D’Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Kenya in Moscow Mr. Salim Mohamed Salim hosted the reception at the residence of the Embassy to celebrate 54th anniversary of Independence of Kenya.

Traditionally in summer many students in Russian universities pass the state exams and receive their degree certificates. On the occasion Charge D’Affaires Mr. Hillary Kyengo attended several graduation ceremonies of Kenyan students to personally congratulate them and their families and thank university officials for cooperation in the field of education with the Republic of Kenya.
The Charge d’Affaires, Mr. Hillary N. Kyengo together with diplomats, the Kenyan Diaspora in Russia, friends and partners of Kenya celebrated Madaraka Day in Moscow on 4th June 2017.
It was the first time Madaraka Day was celebrated at the Kenya Embassy in Moscow.
