Moscow hosted a leading domestic industry event, the Russian Coffee & Tea Industry Event (RUCTIE) from 2nd to 4th of March 2017. The event is devoted to the current tea and coffee industry issues and prospects for its development.

The Charge D’Affaires of the Kenya Embassy to the Russian Federation, Mr. Hillary N. Kyengo attended the event which was also attended by a delegation from Kenya that included delegates: Mr. James Ngugi of Agriculture and Foods Authority (AFA), Samuel Ireri and Vincent Mwingirwa of Kenya Tea Development Agency (KTDA) and representatives from Tea companies: Drew Brown of M.J. Clarke ltd, Amit Gudka of Evergreen and Nauhnihal Sehmi Singh of Tower Bridge ltd. 

A Trade Mission with representatives of AFA under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, Kenyan tea manufacturing and trading companies.

Kenya is working hard to penetrate the Tea and Coffee market in Russia.
