On July 30, 2021, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kenya to the Russian Federation H. E. Benson H. O. Ogutu, accompanied by Deputy Head of the Mission Amb. Joshua Mugodo, Minister Consul General Mr. Maurice O. A. Okoth Okomo, and Minister Counselor Mrs. Winnie Mwanjala, held a meeting with First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Mr. Nail Zalakov.
At the meeting, Mr. Nail Zalakov presented the agro-industrial potential of the Republic of Tatarstan, as agriculture is one of the priority sectors in Tatarstan.
H. E. Benson H. O. Ogutu, informed the First Deputy Minister about the development of agriculture in Kenya, which is an integral part of the BIG-4 Agenda. Amb. Joshua Mugodo made a presentation on existing investment opportunities in agricultural sector in Kenya.
